Our beautiful brood of lurcher Puppies are 12 weeks old today. Oh how time flies.
Aren’t they just stunning?
The pups parents Star and Zeppy came into our rescue when Mum was 7 weeks pregnant. You can read all about this families story on our FACEBOOK PAGE
Having been born into our care these puppies have had the absolute best start, medically, dietary and socially. They will only be going to homes with experience of sighthounds and the ability to continue to invest into them both financially and emotionally.
The pups will need homes with someone around all or most of the time. No homes where everyone works full time. They are babies and need constant ongoing training and support. Commitment to puppy classes is ideal and as they age the kennel club good citizen scheme. They will be large active dogs and will need to learn acceptable behaviour in a public setting.

Any resident dogs must already be spayed or castrated and proof of this will be needed.
Sensible dog savvy children 3 plus unless you’ve already adopted from us or your children have grown up around sighthounds then younger may be considered.
Any current resident dogs must be well socialised and not pose a risk to a pup.
A secure garden to ensure ability to work with recall and housetraining.
Any homes with cats must have dog savvy cats who are use to dogs.
Puppies will be individually matched to each home and we won’t accept applications for a specific puppy.
At just 12 weeks old these pups show exceptional manners around both humans and adult dogs. They’ve already learnt about bite inhibition and do ask to go to the toilet.
However, these are sighthounds. They are fast. They WILL have a prey drive, they will dig, they will chew and they will have a period where they attempt to use their teeth. Any home has to be realistic with managing their expectations of a young high energy, fast moving breed. We don’t call them landsharks for nothing. You will need to be committed to working through this.

We are based in Stoke-on-Trent and our main areas of operation are Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire. The puppies will need neutering at a relative age at our vets in Leek as this is paid for by ourselves. Due to this local homes will be prioritised.
You will be required to visit our center with all members of the immediate family and any current resident dogs. Homevisits will also be carried out.
Ongoing life time support and back up will be provided and we will be setting up a Facebook group for all of the pups owners to join.
