Stunning Savanna is a 4 year old Greyhound girl who is now ready to find her new home.
Savanna is a lovely girl but has quite a strong personality. She has a very sweet, easy going temperament and settles well when in the kennel.
Outside of her kennel her prey drive is high. She will lunge and cry at any small furry creatures. However she can walk happily with any larger breeds of dog with no issues.
Savanna walks like a dream on the lead but with her high prey drive we are looking for a home with someone who can handle her lunging. Previous Greyhound owners used to prey drive would be ideal.
We feel Savanna could live as an only dog with someone around all or most of the time in the beginning to work with us to help settle her in or equally would be happy to live with a male Greyhound companion, the male would need to be extremely laid back though and not want to push her around.
Savanna also travels in the van like a dream.
Although Savanna is with us in kennels she toilets regularly when taken out and knows the wee wees command so we do not envisage housetraining being an issue.
Savanna is not cat or small furry friendly but could live with dog savvy children aged 6 years and upwards.
Savanna is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and will be spayed and receive a dental before rehoming. She will also be rehomed with one months free insurance from Petplan.
Savanna is currently in Stoke on Trent and anyone wishing to offer her a home would need to be willing to travel with all members of the immediate family and any current dogs.
