We adore this girl she is a heady mix of Greyhound and something somewhat bonkers, head strong, at times stubborn and she knows what she wants.

 

Out on walk Sadie can be quite strong on lead. Although relatively tiny for a female Greyhound she is built like the back end of a tank. She needs an owner use to handling stronger dogs on lead and willing to work with engaging her to concentrate on her owner when walking.

 

As an ex racer Sadie does have quite the prey drive but we do feel this is also forged from wanting to see and learn about everything the world has to offer. She is not cat or small furry safe and caution needs to be taken with other breeds of dogs so the ability to invest in gentle socialisation is a must.

 

We feel that Sadie could be rehomed happily as an only dog or she could live alongside a male Greyhound.

 

Sadie travels well, she is clean in her kennel so we do not envisage housetraining to be an issue.

 

Sadie adores people so can be rehomed with dog savvy children 6 years and upwards but they would need to be able to cope with occasional outbursts of joyous zoomies at which point Sadie does really forget herself.

 

Sadie is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, spayed has had her teeth cleaned and has had a corn removed that she came to us with. She will be ready to leave for her new home in around 3 weeks time. She will also be rehomed with one weeks free insurance from Petplan.

 

Sadie is located in Stoke on Trent and anyone wishing to meet her would need to commit to travelling with all immediate members of the family and any current resident dogs.
