Pigsy is one of the litter of 12 born here at Greyhound Gap, he is now 7 months old. Pigsy is the most un usual looking of the litter and so different visually to the other pups.

Pigsy’s Mum & Dad came into our rescues care when Mum was 7 weeks pregnant. That means that these puppies have been really lucky and had the best of everything from the minute they were born.

These puppies already show wonderful manners and understand boundaries. They have been well socialised with adult dogs, children and have wonderful bite inhibition.

Even as a large litter of 12 they rarely squabbled and play and interact with each other fabulously.

Pisgy is a lovely boy but can be quite strong willed and headed. He needs an experienced home with people well versed with the breed. Someone who is willing and able to invest in lots of continued socialisation and training.
If Pigsy were to be an only dog then the home would absolutely need to have someone home all or most of the time. He is very good with his dog skills though so we feel a home with a female lurcher would be best. He understands when they tell him and does back down when told.
Out on walks Pigsy is a dream and off lead his recall is good. He also travels well. He adores people and can be rehomed with dog savvy children 8 years and upwards but is not to be rehomed with cats unless they are very bold and have lived with sighthounds before.
Pigsy is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed and microchipped. He will only be placed into a home with already neutered animals. Pigsy will need to be returned to our rescues vet for neutering at a relevant age discussed between ourselves.
Pigsy is currently in Stoke on Trent and any family wishing to offer him a home must be willing to travel to meet him with all immediate members of the family and any current resident dogs.
