It’s time for our wonderful tiny, tiny baby Greyhound boy Eric to look for a new family.
Eric was pulled from a stray pound at risk of euthanasia and although we’ve found his trainer who gave him away and can no longer find the details of who too we still don’t have a proper age as he was not sure. We were told between 12 and 18 months.
Eric is currently still a little bit of an ugly duckling having landed into our care in an absolute mess. He stands just 24.5 inches at the shoulder and weighs just 21kg. His ideal weight will be around 23kg so when we say he’s small he’s small.
Eric is the most vibrant pup in the world. He doesn’t behave like a Greyhound. He’s extremely busy and likes to be doing, he’s funny, sassy and very mischievous.
The love of Eric’s life is dogs! Big dogs, little dogs, cardboard box and he absolutely must go to a home with canine companionship.
He will also need a home that has someone around all or most of the time whilst he settles he will need work to instill boundaries and learn the difference between fun time and relaxing.
Out on walks Eric walks well, he also travels like a dream. He’s learning to be clean in his kennel but does still need a little help with basic house training and can be rehomed with dog savvy children 6 plus. We may consider slightly younger if they have experience of living alongside the breed.
Eric is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and castrated.
Eric is currently in Stoke on Trent and anyone wishing to meet him must be willing to travel to us with all members of the family and any current resident dogs.
