Betty is a 7 year old, female, Chocolate Patterdale Terrier.
Beautiful Betty came into our care from a stray pound where she was at risk of euthanasia. She was an owner surrender so we do have some information on her.
Betty is said to be already house trained and crate trained.
Betty would be best placed as an only dog into a home with Patterdale experience. She is very typical of the Patterdale breed.
Betty is able and happy to walk with other dogs but doesn’t really like to share her immediate space. If she were to live with another dog it would need to be a larger breed neutered male.
Out and about in the main Betty walks well on lead. She’s a sweetheart however, she can get a little vocal at times if other dogs do bark at her. Dogs she knows though she walks with without vocalising. Her recall does need some reinforcing, she is a typical Patterdale and gets distracted easily.
She can NOT live with cats.
Betty is a typical busy little Patterdale girl. She will definitely need both mental and physical stimulation. She would be a great running partner or would be ideal for agility or any other dog sport. She absolutely adores the water and likes to swim.
She loves people and will be fine to live alongside dog savvy children 6 years and upwards.
Betty is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped has been spayed and has had a dental. She will also be rehomed with 5 weeks free insurance from Agria.
Betty is located in Stoke-on-Trent and anyone wishing to offer her a home must be willing to travel to meet her with all immediate members of the immediate family and any current resident dogs.
