Beautiful Ebony is now ready to start the search for her new home. Ebony was just 17 months old in June when taken to the vets by her trainer for euthanasia.

Ebony had badly broken her leg. A career ending injury before it even started so quickly became a *liability* that needed disposing of.

Thankfully the vets called us and we agreed to fund the £5000 operation before bringing her into our care. Not happy with that she also came with a slight tail injury that got worse and another £1000 was necessary to fund the removal.

Now at 20 months old this delightful and somewhat giddy but exceptionally loving girl needs an amazing family to call her own.

She had to be crated in her kennel during her recovery and has been absolutely good as gold taking everything in her stride.

As Ebony is so good in her crate we do feel she could be an only dog but would also happily co exist with other dogs medium size and upwards.

Ebony is also extremely clean.

Ebony is not cat or small furry safe but could live with dog savvy children 6 years and upwards and travels like a dream.

Ebony is now out and about on walks and doing well. She also recently visited a local golf club alongside us to do a talk and was once again golden.

Ebony does have metal in her leg that in the future may need to be removed and Greyhound Gap will remain financially responsible for that in the future so due to that we'd like to find her a home as close to us here in Stoke on Trent as possible to enable that to happen.

Ebony is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and spayed. She will also be rehomed with one months free insurance from Petplan
