Dante has the most fabulous temperament. He is absolutely fantastic with all dogs… big dogs, small dogs, happy dogs, angry dogs, shouty dogs. Dante does not care he just loves them.

 

He is the most ridiculous smiley goofy boy you could ever wish to meet but there is one catch! He also loves him humans just as much. That means he can be a little upset when they are not around.

 

Dante joined us as an unclaimed stray from the pound and appears to have faced quite a bit of unsettlement in his life.

 

He absolutely can not be rehomed without other dogs he would not cope and needs a home with people around all or most of the time especially in the beginning.

 

If Dante is bonded to the other dogs in the home we feel his necessity to love on his humans so much will subside and in time he will be happy with longer periods left.

 

Out and about on lead Dante walks really well in the main BUT did I mention he loves other dogs? He can be a little strong when he sees them as he wants to say hello to everyone but is totally non reactive.

 

He has seen off lead dogs in the fields surrounding the kennels us and wants to just go and join them.

 

Dante is not cat friendly and not suitable for a home with small furries.

 

We do not feel he will be an issue with children but as he is quite a large boy we feel a home with children 8 years and over would be best.

 

Although Dante is with us here in kennels he does work hard to keep his kennel clean so we do not envisage house training will be an issue.

 

He also travels well

Dante is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, castrated and has received a dental. He will also be rehomed with one months free insurance from Petplan.

 

Dante is located in Stoke on Trent and anyone wishing to offer him a home needs to be willing to travel to meet him with all immediate members of the family and any current resident dogs.
