Cookie is around 3 years old and is a whippet cross who joined us from the stray pound.

 

We can guess that Cookie has not had the best start to life to this point having been found hiding deep in a bush still producing milk. Its thought she was used for her puppies then abandoned.

 

Cookie is a little bit of a double edged sword. She is extremely nervous understandably in new situations and around new people and dogs to begin with. Once she knows you she is an absolute love bug and adores her trusted people. She is then the most gently little soul. Everyone who meets her at the kennels falls head over heels in love with her.

 

Out on walks Cookie is a joy in the main. She will bark at new dogs and occasionally people as she passes so she needs a family willing to work with her to build her confidence. Once she knows a dog she is happy to enjoy a walk with them engaging in mutual sniffs.

 

We feel Cookie would be best to be an only dog. We have mixed her inside with male dogs and due to her nerves she can be a little pushy with them. Ideally a home with someone around all or most of the time and children 10 years and older. Cookie is NOT cat friendly.

 

Cookie travels well and although currently here with us in kennels she works hard to keep her area clean and toilets at every given opportunity so we do not envisage house training being an issue.

 

Cookie is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, spayed and has had her teeth cleaned.

 

Cookie is currently located at our kennels in Stoke on Trent. Anyone wishing to offer Cookie a home must be willing to travel to meet her with all members of the immediate family.
